On Saturday [September 3] a huge gathering of rap acts invaded Governors Island. Slaughterhouse, Black Moon, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Cypress Hill, Black star, Mobb Deep, Nas, and Immortal Technique all performed.

Lil Wayne could care less if ‘Tha Carter IV’ leaked, and why should he? If history repeats itself the 4th installment of ‘Tha Carter’ series will be picking up where No. 3 left off in terms of sales.

Early projections from Billboard had the album pushing close to 850,000 units it’s first week out. Now HitsDailyDouble is estimating the final total could be closer to 975,000.
