The music industry is finally getting it’s creative wings back, Legendary songtress Sade and Jay-Z are making musical history. At Sade’s request she has asked that Jay Z feature in one of her songs from her platinum selling album released last year entitled Soldier Boy. Sade who for years has, been known for declining collaborations with other artist, because she never wanted to compromise the integrity of her classic style, but now she is deciding to shake things up and test new waters. Jay Z will feature in the remix to “The Moon and the Sky.”
Eminem joined Shady Records’ newest signees Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf last night as a surprise guest on stage in Detroit at Royal Oak Music Theater. The crew performed their posse cut “2.0 Boys” to a sold-out crowd for Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf’s co-headline show presented by Shady in partnership with Brisk iced tea. Tonight, the show moves on to Central Michigan University’s Plachta Auditorium.

Continuing on his promotional circuit for F.A.M.E., Chris Brown made an appearance yesterday on BET’s ’106 & Park.’ While there, he apologized for and explained his recent behavior on Good Morning America, denied that he pre-approved any questions regarding the Rihanna incident, and talked about how he felt as if people were trying to take away from the hard work he put into making his album:
It was only a matter of time before 50 cent commented on long-time rival, Ja Rule’s current legal situations. Yesterday it was made public that Ja is pleading guilty to tax evasion, with reports claiming he owes the IRS $1.1million.
